Introduction:Since the commencement of Mufushan-Yanziji?Riverside City Living Room?in 2008, more than ten public welfare key projects?have been completed sequentially, such as the 6-kmriverside Yongji Avenue and its landscape greening project, Yangtze River revetment, Riverside Plaza, Mufu Mountain Top Viewing Deck Project, scenic green way?and slow-traffic?system, and mountain geological disaster management; a number of cultural tourism supporting service facilities have been restored and constructed, such as Yangtze RiversideKwan-yinAttraction, Bodhidharma?Ancient Cave, MufuMountain Top Viewing Deck,and Wuma Ferry; over 10 historical and cultural attractionshave been repaired and protected, such as Kwan-yin?Pavilion, Qianlong Imperial Monument, DamoAncient Cave, Lion Ferry Stone, the 1st?Stone Cave?(Toutai),?the2nd?Stone Cave(Ertai),?and the3rd?Stone Cave(Santai). After the completion of the project, it has thoroughly?changed the old image of “dirty, messy, bad” image?of Mufu-Yanziji?Riverside. The new greening area of the Riverside Landscape Area?is about 800,000 m2 and is equipped with 20 km long greenway and slow-traffic?system and about 5 km long Yangtze Riverecological revetment. It has enriched and improved the traffic road network system in the north of the cityand added the overall greening coverage in?the Landscape Area by about 9%.

In 2020, the project of Mufu-Yanziji?Riverside Sakura?Blossom Viewing Area was?completed. The project has a total length of 3.5 km?along the river from Yanziji to Wuma?Ferry, covering an area of about 42 m2;?43 cultivar and a total 5,052 Sakura trees have been planted, with the longest Sakura forest length and largest volume?in Nanjing, making it the only “Yangtze riverside Sakura Forests” in China now.In May 2021, the “Legend of Yangtze River” cruise ship, a unique river cruise project?in Jiangsu province based on the Wuma?Ferry?cruise berth and other Yangtze riverside berth resources,?officially set sail.
