Introduction: Located in Xianlin Sub-district, Qixia District, Nanjing, the core area of Nanjing Xianlin University Town, Xianlin Party and Public Service Center is the main venue for party building activities, the gathering place for service teams of social organizations and?the shared home for the happy life of residents.
The Center has 4 floors, with a total area of about 12,000 m2. Among them, the first floor is the community walk-in service pavilion, which mainly?offers convenience services, food market,?supermarket, and other facilities. The second floor is a service center for the elderly, which mainly provides services for the elderly and the young, with functional spaces such as handicraft workshop, barbershop, repair shop, elderly care, children’s playground, amusement park, bookstore, chess and card room, gym, psychological assistance studio,?and rehabilitation room.The third floor is the group organizationservice hall, social organization service hall,and family/family tradition/family education hall. Currently, the center has?accommodated 24 social organizations, 56 public service teams, and 350 higher education clubs. It is?equipped with activity space, incubation carrier, youth volunteer service, and other functions.The fourth floor is the political life lounge for Partymembers, mainly consisting of functional areas such as PartyOath Hall, Party?History Hall, Party?Demonstration Hall, Party?Vision Hall, Party?Affairs Hall, Party?Construction Hall, PartyMass?Hall, and Party?Education Hall.
Adhering to “following the General Secretary’s instructions and the Party’s leadership”, the Center systematically demonstrates?the experience of grid-based social governance in Xianlin sub-district and?highlights?the political and service function of the Party?organization,?so that?the Party?banner can fly high in every grid, every unit, and welcomed by people.On September 23, 2020, Secretary Training School of Jiangsu CPC Branch (Nanjing) was inaugurated here and started offering education programs. It has become an essential?platform to enhance the competency and quality of city administration grassroots cadres acrossJiangsu province.
