Issues Addressed
Mombasa, the second largest city in Kenya, mainly relies on ferries to connect its main island and surrounding areas. In recent years, during the ferry operation, accidents frequently occur, and commuting has become an urgent problem for local people. At the same time, due to the sudden strike of COVID-19 in 2020, a large number of people and goods gather on the ferry, which made the pandemic prevention and control measures even harder to implement.
